If your student will be joining use for the 2022 Fall Season below you will the “Important Dates and Events” file to print out and keep for reference. This will have all the important dates and events that your student needs to be at. Please make the best attempt to schedule around our Weekly Tuesday and Thursday rehearsals (3-6:30pm). It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the founding Director of the Reed HS Raider Band. Felton Hickman opened Reed in 1974 and taught until 1992. Before that he was already a fixture in the community teaching at the Middle School and High School level. Under his tutelage the Reed HS Band became the standard in Nevada for high level of performance and ability. Feltons students were known for all being the leaders in the local and state level honor groups. Felton set the standard for all the bands in the Nevada area and beyond.
The family has asked to create a fund that will go directly to students in financial need to be able to cover their costs to be in the performing arts.
All new members will need to get a pair of Marching Super Drill Masters, we provide these at $30 a pair. We do have a loaner basket but they are first come first serve. Please ask E ASAP.
Sweats are optional but a nice souvenir for the Marching Season.

This is the new online hub for information regarding the Edward C. Reed HS Raider Band and all of its programs. Please excuse the dust as the website is being recreated and more content is being added.
Currently Band Camp for the 2020-2021 School Year is scheduled for August 10-14th from 3-7pm. More information regarding COVID19 Protocols and Procedure will be posted soon and also shared via Infinite Campus communication.
